The learning center was developed in cooperation with the Florida Virtual School Foundation, Everest University Online and the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA to enhance the high-tech resources available to students in the community. “At Florida Virtual School (FLVS), the student is the center behind every decision we make,” said Julie Young, President & CEO of FLVS. “Our Foundation strives to ensure all students have access to world-class education and quality online learning opportunities.”
The Virtual Learning Center, open to all area students, is equipped with computers, Internet access and other resources supplied by Everest University Online.
